For me
I am a keen amateur athlete. I attend Pilates reformer, conditioning training, fitness, swimming, running, cycling, rollerblading, and playing with the kids in the park.
I've recently resumed my excursions into nature in the higher parts of the mountains. I've always been good at drawing people to my ideas for mountain walks. Sometimes I've gone out with colleagues from university, with friends, with children and friends. The groups I've led have ranged from 10-15 people to more intimate groups of 2-3 people. On various terrains and distances.
My love for nature isn't accidental. I discovered it when I loved myself the least. Walks in the mountains grounded me and gave me hope that I wasn't on this earth by chance, that a deeper meaning lay behind my destiny, and that was to grow and share my experience of self-discovery. In searching, one finds. I first found the mountains. Then life rewarded me fittingly with a child, then another man, and two more children. Now we are a large, close-knit family, and I'm beginning to rediscover the world of the high mountains precisely through my children.
Therefore, I consider myself an adventurer. First and foremost a dreamer, an enthusiast, a traveller – inward and outward of mind, soul, and body.
Who knows, we might meet somewhere out there and recognise each other as we pass on the mountain trails.
Dream, travel, achieve and rediscover yourself every day!
